Professionals that are staying downtown on Saturday night will be picked up at 4:30 am on Sunday morning at the LA Athletic Club and transported to T1 in Venice Beach.This is a non-drafting race. If you are a professional registered to compete, you must read the Drafting Rules.

If you are a professional and registered in the race, and have photos of yourself or a web site, please e-mail us and we will post links on this page. The professional entry fee for the race is $175.00 USD.

The Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon will offer a $42,000 prize purse, one of the largest Olympic distance purse in the United States. This is a non-drafting race. For the pros only, no wetsuits allowed in the swim unless the water temperature drops below 68 degrees Fahrenheit. A final decision will be rendered at the mandatory Professionals Meeting on September 9th.. The breakdown is as follows

$1,000 each male and female winner of swim from TYR for Swim Preme

The winners will receive an automatic invitation to the LifeTime Fitness Triathlon in July 2008 with a minimum prize purse of $500,000.
