ARE YOU INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING AT THE RACE?
Anyone can volunteer! The sport of triathlon is very multi-facetted, and so are the opportunities to volunteer for this race. We have volunteer slots for everything from pre-race to post-race needing to be filled by fun, energetic, and reliable individuals! You can even make the experience more exciting by getting your friends, youth group, or family to join in! The Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon is NOT a one-day event...in fact, it all starts the Friday before the event and culminates on race day at the finish line. With such a big production, there is SOMETHING for EVERYONE! When you call in to volunteer, you will have a choice of shifts ranging from Friday to Sunday, early morning to evening. All Sunday shifts have an early arrival time, but you will most likely be done by noon!

Some choices are:
Outdoor Registration at the Kaiser Permanente Health & Fitness Expo (Friday or Saturday)
Outdoor Setup (Saturday, some manual labor)
Swim (Sunday)
Transition areas (Sunday, Venice Beach or Staples Center)
Finish Line (Sunday)
Timing (Sunday)
Registration (Sunday)
Post-race Food (Sunday)
Course Monitor (Sunday)
Clean Up (Sunday, afternoon)
Fluid Station (Sunday)

In exchange for volunteering, we will be providing each volunteer with an official Los Angeles Triathlon volunteer T-shirt and goodie bag. And BEST of ALL, you will feel great for helping out all those determined athletes. As a side benefit, it is a great way to meet people. If Interested please fill out the volunteer application.
